• Read all PDF documents, including any version PDF through v1.7.
• Load PDF documents from file or memory.
• Extract text and use PDF Xpress features to return location and context of text search results. (Extract text from Normal or Searchable Image PDFs then identify text matches using any desired technique.  PDF Xpress will provide the context and location of the match phrase.)
• Export PDF annotations to XFDF (XML). This enables PDF Xpress to work with NotateXpress to annotate PDF documents.
• Access document metadata, bookmarks, and thumbnails.
